Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in film, theater, and television. Her acting career started in the theater. She then appeared in several television shows in independent films, mainstream and films. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In both roles, she received critical acclaim and numerous nominations and awards including an award from the Television Critics Choice Award for the best Actress. In 1995, she was the first actress to make her debut on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. In addition to Broadway's Come and Gone, she has also been featured in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is renowned for her roles in films such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her most well-known role is her character on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
