Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. Ladd went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to take out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the second. She continued her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger in the first round, and was awarded her a night's performance bonus. Her first major fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
