Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota, journalist, writer, anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day," and Westport, CT resident, is elected to the board of trustees at Westport Country Playhouse. Camerota's thirty years in journalism have led to her covering reports across the country as well as overseas. In addition, she has won her the Edward R. Murrow Award, as well as an Emmy Award. In other board of trustees' transitions Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford was named an honorary trustee after serving as a trustee since 2007, and Anna Czekaj-Farber of Westport has been elected chair of the board after serving since the beginning of 2013 on the board. Czekaj-Farber replaces Barbara Streicker of Westport, who was chairperson since October 15, 2015, and continues to serve on the board from 2006. The Board of Trustees comprises 26 members.
